Green Stuff Tools
« on: February 23, 2009, 10:13:27 PM »
If you don't have these, get them!! Size 0 is the smallest and best for 25mm detail work like warhammer. Green stuff doesn't stick to the tips, so there is no need for water or vaseline or whatnot.

I just tried these out on my stegadon to fill gaps, and they are worth their weight in gold. Simply marvelous.

It looks nice, but how small/sharp is the tip. And is it pointed or shaped like a marker? I can see its uses however it seems a bit large to me.

The size 0 set is the smallest, and the bullet shaped tip is about the size of a sharpie marker, only more pointed at the end.

The 0 set handles are the same size as standard hobby brushes.

You can get them in  a variety of sizes, and the larger ones are very good for smoothing and shaping undulations, or muscles, or cloak/clothing folds.

The shop I go to has them individually just like brushes.

I've been building up a 'coat/skin' on some old chaos hounds I picked up on ebay, where you can see the ribs and internal organs, and I want to male them look like ordinary hounds, and I have used the larger shaper I have to 'blend' the greenstuff.
