Ordering new plastic sprues from GW
« on: October 25, 2007, 01:22:16 PM »
OK, forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere but I have a question.

With the newer plastic Empire and terrain kits I have noticed you can't really look at individual sprues and order those separately when trying to see the components to the model. Is this something they are doing going forward or just because it's new and they haven't gotten the components listed yet?

I know they are making some changes to mail order and was wondering if this was part of them.

Please note, I am referring to the GW US site since I live in the US. Thanks!

???

Best to call them directly, cause I don't know.  If you get a coherent answer (I'll give you 50/50 odds), let us know.

They've had a recent habit of making one very big plastic sprue which is cleft in twain and put in a box. Therefore there is only one sprue to order, that being the entire box

The man has a point, less men per regiment means less sprues to be made.

Ahh... that makes sense but doesn't mean I like it. Thanks for the info!
