Galloper gun with no carriage
« on: June 13, 2009, 06:08:58 AM »
So I got a galloper gun set on fleabay recently and it was missing the bit the gun sits in.  Was brand new, but GW couldn't do anything for it since its out of production.

So, that leaves me with either scratch building a replacement, or finding a very similar bit to fit the bill, unless someone happens to have one they don't need.

Does anyone have any suggestions on either finding replacement or how to make it?

some one had a thread on building gallopers from scratch plastic stock, they looked pretty good, the method for building the carriage whould work for you.
I apologise I can't remember the members name and it is one I read all the time.
Maybe some one can help with the name so you can search it. steveb

awesome, that will help tons.  I am not good on the finer details, but I can get the basics of the carriage and use the other bits to offset the ugliness i hope

If you really need help, you could probably PM or mail him, even. Good luck!
