Hello All,
This weekend past, I went out and bought my first state troop regiment! And then sat down to assemble them. I assembled one, and then sprayed him white and did a test color scheme, all fine so far.... as I have not painted in 5 years a bit of improving to go....
However.... I am stuck... literally. How the hell do people line up their halberdiers so that they form ranks?! For the life of me I have sat there with blutack and cannot seem to get a perfectly ordered regiment in a block of 10! without a halberd or 2 smacking somebody out or causing a disaster of crush.... Even considering putting the banner and champion and musician is a pain! As they get skewered in the back....
Although semi spaz! I was hoping somebody could post me a pic of their halberdier regiment that they have so I may copy how they have set up their rank and files with a command squad at the front without it being skewered by the halberds at the rear....
In 5th edition it was easy.... they all stood pointing up! This time it appears that GW did not think to make halberdiers easy to put into ranks... or am I just missing something?
