Those look pretty amazing. I like what you did with those empire spearmen shields. The blood on the shields looks a little to light (or is it just the camera's doing?). :-D

Quite nice. Except the blood on the shields is rather pink...looks like ink though that may be wrong. Anyway, blood dries much more of a brown colour.

These look pretty sweet if I may say so. I like the poses as well as the hats a lot, and the paintjob seems good as well. The pics are not the best but from what I can see you have a fine theme there.  8)

Very characterful!  They look nice and Empire-affiliated, without being over-the-top or garrish with their costumes.  I agree that the modified gut-plate idea is just brilliant, showing their affiliation while there is still a subtle reference to the Great Maw!

For really great blood, use Tamiya Clear Red mixed with a little black then when that is dry, add an additional layer of pure Clear Red on top and some on the outside. Looks better and more dried. Yours is OK but a little berry smeared looking.

This guy, one of my favorite painters, use it to a full effect:

Very nice lot of painted Ogres.  I wasn't going to post until I saw those Lustrian Ogres.  They're amazing!  Very well converted and very unique.  An Ogre Kingdoms force entirely of those would be amazing!  Award deserving, too. :D

thanks for the blood painting tip shadowlord.

the lustrian ogres are made with old plastic minotaure from the warhammer quest box.
the pic don't show the highlights i've made ( i really wanted a very black skin tone.).

kickass conversions and painting. I dig them a lot. The only thing I would change would be to weather the shields a bit. Do some drybrushing or inking on them a bit.  Other than that, fantastic work and KEEP IT UP.  :-D
