Well i guess he's saying unbaitable from the standpoint of being able to make a leadership check to not frenzy charge. Once it's in combat, that's moot since it will have to pursue or overrun.

Ah.  But if you have your 100 point Pistolier unit parked in front of it, he has to do something.  And because you will lose combat there has to be a pursuit or overrun, as you say.

Ld9 with a reroll. There's less than a 3% chance of failing; making it un-baitable in practice.

Absolutely.   And if they pass their LD check and reform and avoid the pistoliers you simply move the pistoliers back in front of them, repeat.  And that large block of killy has been neutralized for another turn, exactly what you were hoping for.

I would probably use multi units of 5 archers to do it.  You could keep it busy all game with way less points.

Don't forget, the lack of shooting Chaos has means they can struggle to get little baiter units out of the way. Peggy Captains can infuriate large blocks to no end by getting in close and angling themselves awkwardly.
