« on: April 26, 2006, 12:01:50 PM »
Just a quick post to make everyone aware that Bicester wargaming club are promoting a tournament on 12th/13th of AUgust.  There will be a WAB campaign (roughly shieldwall if anyone is interested) and a WFB 5-game 2000 point tournament.

Bicester is in north oxfordshire, near the M40 motorway and has good train connections to London

For more details see www.bicesterwargaming.co.uk and click on events.

The web site has been updated to show some accomodation details.

Also, If anyone in the recent WAB threads wants to try WAB out, there are a couple of loan armies available.

It would be great to have you.  If anyone else is interested, there is a team entry discount for 3 or more players from the same "club", and the forum would count as a club for this purpose (because I say so!)

I'm afraid we've had to cancel this event due to lack of entries.  Apologies to Rufus and anyone else who had thought about entering
