Topic: I need a clean shaven bald head.

Hello I am looking everywhere for a head for my Grand Master. I can't find anything. All the Empire baldies have beards! I need a GW miniature head with following criteria:

1. Bald

2. Clean Shaven.

3. Easily removed from the original model.

4. Human.

I've been looking everywhere but have come up empty handed! Anyone know of anything off the top of their heads? Thanks in advance!

I have used several of the plastic "Goliath ganger" heads from the plastic set of Necromunda . The thick stocky neck suited its application to Empire Knights bodies quite well , they have fantastic grimacing faces ( the crooked teeth or lack thereof are very characterful ) , mind you they do have a mohican haircut , but its easily removed with a knife , i cant rmember if theu had earrings or not , but again easily removed .

I think there also might be a Catachan Jungle fighter head that is also bald , maybe ask at your local club from some of the 40K players ?

There's also the... Bret 'fat man' head from the command sprue.

Catachan heads... not bald, but they have like bandanas on which could be easy to remove via slight filing action.

I had thought of these (especially the Maurauder...but the earrings turn me off of them in a big way. Has anyone seen if those Marauder earrings can be hacked off easy enough?)


As for the Bretonnian peasants...I'm looking for the bald heads on the GW site and aren't seeing any except for that fat one which I will NOT be using. Eww. Links anyone?

Nope, there is one guy, bald, and screaming. I tend to use him in the sort of pose thats either insulting the enemy, or trying to encourage his fellow flagellants. One of the best heads on the flagellant sprue I reckon.

Thanks for the pic. I love that scar! I don't want my Grand Master to look like some pretty-boy Bretonnian knight! I want a grizzled veteran of many bloody campaigns and rides through the forests of the Empire and the scars to prove it. Perfect! Thanks!

Thanks, your the first person to say that, the axe is from the new black orcs, the head from the flaggies, the shield and other axe are from Krom (my paymasters left handed), and the metal skeleton is from the casket of souls.

Ive got 3 more of those axes, and lots of bigger orc ones if you want to trade.

A bald and beardless head I used for my Dogs of War general, is the head from the chaos warriors sprue. Granted, it has horns on it, but these are very easily removed, and then you have a very stern bald head with a slight scar running across his eye.   This gives the guy a very veteran like appearence, worthy of a Grand Master.

someone posted a picture of a grandmaster or something equal in the B&P Subboard, but i can't find the picture.
It was a converted mini with a bald head, but with a clean beard and an eye patch. Perhaps it could fit as well.

There is head on the zombie sprue that can be used for the banner. It has an exprecion like the face of an warrior priest who's just praying soulfire.

Was just looking at my Brett Archers sprue and noticed a great bald, cleanly-shaven head - not the fat guy either.  I like the screaming head a little better, but at least you have another choice.
