Decent suggestion, but no way I can now paint more orcs.

Could hide unpainted in the unit... but that is a bit lame.
- boar chariot
+10 orcs, + dispell scroll.

BTW, none of these will actually be in horde formation. Steadfast, hooooooooo.

Are you sure you don't want six trolls? People won't always have flaming attacks when they want them. Trolls are amazing when not being flamed!

Wolf chariots are pretty good in a unit of two.

This is my list:

Hobgoblorc lord: shield, glittering scales, +1 S sword
Savage orc shaman lord: level 4, magic lucky special mini head
Da Boss in Yellow: shield, light armour, wizard hat!

Orc BSB: greatweapon, heavy armour of 4+ ward

39 Hobgoblorcs: shields, command
24 Savage orc big 'un squid cultists: extra weapons, command
40 Awesome goblins: shields, short bows, command, 3 stabby stabbers
5 wolf botherers: shields, spears, short bows
5 more wolf botherers, as above

6 trolls

wagon with wings
wagon with sail
wagon with spikes
wagon with spores
2 catapults
2 doom divers
mangler squig

How many points is this? 2500?

Still pretty light on troops in those units. 40 goblins is just too few.

It is still 2500. Yes, I suppose 40 goblins isn't enough. Though the stabby stabbers can help by forcing the enemy to direct attacks in the first round (front rank of characters/champion only). And maybe the goblins will kill something with their short bows too!

I'm also hoping my pump wagons will crash into the enemy and deplete their numbers!

I normally get nervous about enemy fire depleting my units, but those pump wagons will create some havok.

Why in hell would empire be out gunned? The army really can't afford to be. A couple cannons and a couple hell asters are required at 2500. Hell, I would want at least 4 cannons at that point.

Well, Empire will still be able to out artillery you, with 2 cannons and 2 HBVGs, but that is like 480 points.

You obviously havent seen all the lists in the parade ground with 1 cannon at 2500 points.

How big are chariot bases, 50x100?

You obviously forget that a huge number of people here aren't very good and as a whole we are the best site for empire on the net and so get a large variation in capability. One cannon is laughable and would get pummeled beyond all recognition by many armies.

Well a great number are too. They run the gamut!

I just can't imagine a legitimate list taking less Han the ne cannon per thousand points rounded up. With all of the new super monsters out there you would be crazy not too.

The madness that some people suffer from right now will end and they will exchange the new toys to 2 cannons, 1 hellblaster and one stank very quickly after playing some games.

I guess many now think that Empire is as close combaty as warriors of chaos due to all the buffs.....but they will learn that this is not the full truth.

(Fandirs first list...1 cannon + 1 steam tank)

I suggest you try the hellblaster a couple of times they are super juiced bolt throwers that kill heavy infantry and knights pretty easily on long range.

Killing 5-7 grave guard a turn sums up pretty fast.

Yeah for sure. Not knocking them. They do clock in around the same price as 3 Demis though and I can see situations where I'd prefer them.

I remember killing twenty-plus grave guard in one shot in 6th edition! That was a real helblaster.

I remember I once shot all 30 shots at a dwarf king and didn´t do a single wound on him.

6th edition helblaster were one of the things I would have ranked Empire as top tier army in that time.

Cannons and the Griffon Banner were the other.

I relish the opportunity to fight an Empire army with my Beastmen if they think they can out CC me.It will be an absolute blood bath. Do current Empire generals think that they have the sole access to buffs?

It seems much more useful. It doesn't become useless after a couple wounds now.
