There was a 'ships' thread, and then there's another more current thread with a link to the battle you posted.

I really really want to build some ships ....... but there is just so much else that needs doing ..........

Thanks for the nice comments!  I didn't take the pictures or make the scratch built ships but I had a great time fighting the battle and doing the small amount of conversion work that the Black Pearl model requires.
