Lightweight. You just need to be hardened by a couple seasons of good Cleveland weather. It builds strength and character!
Hey, if I had an inside job I wouldn't care what the weather was like. But this job requires a lot of fine motor coordination, which means your fingertips must be exposed, which means they freeze in this weather. At it's not even particularly bad yet. It's going to get MUCH worse as winter wears on. Likewise, our job requires us to be on high ladders in icy/slippery/windy conditions which is not exactly safe. And guess how much fun it is when the sun goes down and you have to do this in the dark when the temperature starts to plummet?
That lake wind cuts to the bone!
We may actually be moving to Texas in a few months so that would be a *much* milder winter to get through. And less snow too. As a California boy, I'm less than thrilled when my truck starts sliding around on the snow and ice. It's kind of a pity... seems like this area would be really pretty in the warmer months.
What part of Cleveland?
Right now, we're living in a motel in Richfield. We're trying to find a house for rent, but it's been a hassle. Ideally we'd like to be in someplace like Parma that's centrally located.
I may have to check out that store in North Olmstead. I was just there on a job a few days ago, but had no idea there was a gamestore there.
Man it's been over a year since I actually got a game in... the local GW back home closed shop and moved far enough away that
I really couldn't justify the money in gas to get in a weekly game, and after that there weren't many people I could get interested in fantasy (I'd have had better luck as a 40k player
). So yeah, I'd like to get some play time in.
