Greetz one and all,

It's been a while

I did some more work; check out the blog for more pix and stuff.  But nothing to big.
Last week I made a few new models for my swordsmen
what you guy's think?

I used grave guard as these models are my vampire hunters; but in no means witchhunters.
They need some more anti undead symbolism and stuff.
Any and all idea's are welcome.

Great stuff!

Love the use of parts and the style you have gone with on these latest guys, very crusader-ish.

Looking forward to more! Also, nice blog, will follow your progress on there.

Cheers,

Dante

Griffit my friend, still looking good.  What purples are you using? I have not been able to get my Ostermarks to look like yours, which I greatly admire.  I think that this is the hardest of the color schemes to do, and you do it so well.  The "Berk" seeds really do a good job at spiffing up the bases, thanks again. Keep up the good work, I am loving your conversions. steveb

Nice to see so many ppl approving my work.  Lot of you guy's are in my favourites  :biggriin:

@steveb: glad to hear the seeds got to there destination and are put to good use.  The purple is done with warlock purple.  WLP + chaos black => WLP => WLP + skull white The last stage is repeated adding white.

valetus: the swordsmen were made using the grave guard & state troop kit.  Legs are from GG; Torso GG+ST (front = GG back = ST) arms are from ST; head are leftovers (in this case militia and flaglants) helmet = GG.

lots of putty to fill the gaps and some bitz and pieces to ad more detail.

Wow, this is coming along nicely! :eusa_clap:

I like that gritty and poor feeling you're giving them. Very fitting.

Those last two figures are more of the same good stuff shown further back. :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool:

Really like the banner, too. :eusa_clap: :::cheers:::

By the way, it would be neat to see a tutorial on how you are greenstuffing the 7th edition state troops?

Just wanted to say I love those swordsmen and have stolen them for myself (only have a few made though). I like the pistolier's head on the bannerman and thats my favorite captain all nicely painted up. Well done!

thnx spacecowboy,

What my blog is concerned, I try to update once a week.  And to be honest; it's kind of a deadline every week, this forces me to get something finished every week.  Maybe I don't always show direct results but the train keeps on going and that on its own is quite nice.
