What ever happend to that Rumor that GW was going to make a new Army or bring one back?

I think GW's game designers have clearly stated that they do not consider game balance to be an issue.

I play Dogs much more than my Empire army. (And my Empire does not include Waltars, Steam tanks or feck loads of Knights)

I didn't really buy any of it, because once it gets in the open forum then someone says something that would be cool and it spirals into truth somehow. I just thought Harry at Warseer had also heard some murmurs and he seems to have the ear of some GW insiders or something, from what I've heard. So whilst the rumors here may have been far fetched, I didn't think that this was the only forum that had sources.

But I take it the Rumor died, DoW were not updated, nore Chaos Dwarves. Since they have been left alone, I don't see Cathay or Space Zoats joining the mix.

Yes, it died. I thought there was supposed to be a big announcement at one of the Games Day events and it turned into 'we want to eventually at some point rework Chaos Dwarfs, we just don't know when.'

I'm "okay" with chaos dwarves, but I would of liked to see DoW updated first, to me they are more interesting... No offense to any big hat players.

But there is already 2 human armies, 3 if you include Chaos Marauders

but only one dwarf race...

So dwarfs are a little short on the representation...

Dwarfs are actually really cool as a race, they've just been hit with the bland stick. Something the Chaosy type don't really have. It would be interesting to see if they'd redo the big hats into something a little more 'now'. A lot of the old models across the range look ridiculous in some variety.
