No one believes you.

For you to get your army smashed, a 747 has to crash on top of your mansion...
I don't think that'll do. Maybe if war broke out and the enemy mistook his hobby room for a key US air base, consequently bombing it.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

repeatedly.
The greatest form of control which can go on forever until it is exposed is a tyranny you can't see, touch and taste (unlike totalitarian Govts). When you sit in a prison cell but can't see the bars, because people don't rebel against not being free when they think they're are.

Such a shame, at least it wasn't all destroyed. Would be such a waste if it was.
What man is a man who does not make the world better? When you stand before God you can not say, "But i was told by others to do thus," or that "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice.

Eventus stultorum magister

I totally had to google that by the way, I didn't know what it meant!  :icon_lol:

Oh and judging by the sudden outbreak of Caesar Speak, you don't think Soth has found a new site then ...........

I'll have you know I was an avid student of Latin in my high school days, sir !
So was Midaski. Of course, everyone spoke Latin back then, since it was their language...

Cannon! You live!
I feel your pain.  I dropped my army in the middle of the street a few weeks back and I scrambled to get everything gathered.  I haven't even looked at the full carnage yet as I can't really handle it at the moment.
Oh man, that sucks for everyone on here as well, especially Zandur.

I'm glad it turned out reasonably well, IF.

Another bummer. :icon_sad:

I got lucky.  Had a car accident when I was on vacation earlier this year.  I was traveling to see Von Kusrt for a game, and got into a little fender bender.  As the car came to a sudden stop, when it hit the vehicle in front, a portion of my minatures had been arrayed out in a box lid placed in a nice cubby position on the floor.  Some items on the front seat went flying down onto the box lid, and I had nothing break.  Very lucky.

Thanks fellas.  It turned out quite well.  Most of the stuff was just shields and heads, I had about 3 models that snapped at the ankles but that was the worst of the damage.  I got off light, fortunately.
Me and Wissenlander had babies!

not together.

finding photographic evidense that Wiss smiles is going to be hard...

snapped ankles can take MONTHS to repair correctly. multiple glueing and surgery needed. Not to mention if the break isn't flush a round of greenstuff and re-painting is necessary. Fact is the convalescence period for snapped ankles is a long and arduous journey and you can never be sure how stable their legs are again.

I'm just speaking as a Man who has snapped his ankles on multiple occasions and know the lifetime of pain and suffering it can bring.

Well, if that's the case what do you suggest for the ones who had their heads pop off?

Oh the humanity! I was just about to clean out my display cases and stupidly I tried to be clever and remove an entire shelf full of miniatures at once. Unfortunately the shelf had other ideas and slipped dropping my entire Empire army one shelf down onto the start of my Goblin army and a load of display minis. I could cry. I now have to spend the day sticking back together broken steam tanks and fixing chipped paint jobs  :icon_cry:  :icon_cry:

.....Normally I would leave that kind of a job to my wife....but hey, I'm an eastEuropean, so that's normal....

Dump the bloody steamtank.
