8th Edition Book Stateside
« on: June 17, 2010, 12:30:21 AM »
Hey everyone,

As is everyone else, I'm dying to get my hands on the new book come July 10th. Unfortunately, I really don't have the $75 to put down on it at the moment-- and maybe not for a few months. I've heard mention that Wayland has it at a decent discount, but I was wondering if anyone knew someone Stateside who already has discount prices?

Much appreciated.

Let them line up all their spearmen for they'll all soon meet the blade

There are a couple locations that I know of, of course you'll have to call them to get it once it's released.

www.frpgames.com
www.miniaturemarket.com

They both offer a 20% discount. I've delt with both of them and they both offer great service. If your order is over $75 dollars miniatures market is the better choice though as they offer free shipping on orders over $75.

Wait, is it seriously $75?!

 :eusa_wall:

Well, I'm definitely waiting for the starter set. I bought the hard cover for both 40k and Fantasy in past editions, but there is no way I'll pay $75 for it...

Especially as I'll be able to split the cost of the starter set with a High Elf playing friend and then sell the orcs myself.

Or Skaven. Whatever. It's past midnight and I need sleep but can't because of this stupid housing registration form.
