Positions for Extra Mods in Various Sections Available
21 May 2010, 7:52 am

Greetings!

I have been looking at the traffic on Carpe Noctem, which as most of you know has been steadily increasing over the past 6 months. We are also anticipating a further surge come the 8th edition as everyone tries to adjust to the new rules.

So bearing that in mind I have decided to recruit for the following positions:

Global Moderator – This is working alongside our current Global Mod Vekarin the Dark Bladed. Please note this does not make your more “senior” to the other mods, it just means that you do not have a specific area to look after. Instead you are expected to help out across the forum in all areas.

Council of the Night Moderator – This is working alongside Onikaigo. The Council of the Night is mainly general discussions, but does include the Beast Within (rants / sensitive topics) area. As such applicants for this area need to be good at being diplomatic, and defusing potential arguments more so that the other sections.

The Dark Arts Moderator – This is to work alongside Redarmy27. This is our painting and modelling section, and as such applicants need to have good experience in that area, ideally showing their own work, and be willing to help other improve their skills in that area.

To War! Moderator – This is to work alongside MasterSpark. Perhaps one of our busiest areas, especially with the army lists. It will also be focused upon in the upcoming rules changes. Due to this we are looking at the possibility of having two extra mods for this area, this will be decided later. Applicants need to have good knowledge and understanding of Warhammer and Vampire Counts rules (they should at a minimum own those two books) – the ideal applicant would also have good knowledge of the rest of the warhammer armies. Finally the applicant must be getting the new 8th edition book so they can support CN members.

Please bear in mind the following when applying:

I will not accept applicants from New Bloods (those under 50 posts)

You need to be active on CN, if you only come on every other week then that is no good.

You will need to get on with the current mod for the area you are applying for, and that mod will be consulted before a decision is made.

If you are interested please just send me a PM stating you are. I will then PM you a couple of questions to assist with making the decision.

Good luck to all those who apply

Disciple of Nagash

EDIT: This recruitment will close Friday 28/05/2010 @ 2000 GMT
