I've been working on a concept recently that uses a level 4 heavens wizard.

I really like this idea.  If I used more Warmachines, I would give it a try. 

I think it would really mess with an opponent's head because it is not something they have faced before...and it will definately increase the casualties caused by your arty.  Plus, it gets rid of the cannon bane-  rolling a 1 to wound!   :icon_wink:

Sword of Ruin+ Mortar will fry Dwarves and WoC!

Sword of Ruin + Okkam's + Spearmen = Dead Sphinx or about everything.

I'm always shocked that more High Elf players don't field great hordes of spear elves and throw mind razor on them. It would be brutal.

Exactly. They're mostly too busy whining about how bad their spear elves suck "they're only T3! the horror!".

As an Empire player, I was always a little offended that High Elf players whined so much about T3 on everybody. I know it affects their characters, but on troops? Is it that big a deal? [/HELF HATE]

I think they don't realise that we no longer have Dwarves and Ogres in our lists...
There are three things each man judges another man by;

1. The size of his codpiece
2. The amount of skulls he carries
3. The length of his feather
