Wow. That banner is really impressive. How many different bits and pieces went into that? I'd love to be able to duplicate it...

oh im loving the instant mold not found anything i cant make a mold of ye just have to make sure the air can get out when u put greenstuff in  :icon_twisted:

The face was done with instant mold I wanted KF's real face.
so i made a copy of it i didint reay want to get another one just to cut its face off..

For the banner I used lots of flagellants bits ( the books, scrolls and chains)
The arms and banner are from the great swordsmen.
The body and legs are from the old empire statetroops.
The scroll with the seal is from a ultra marine set.
I dont know what the little Gryphon on top is from it was just siting in my bits box.

I'm pretty sure that little Gryphon is from the Warhammer Building Kits. I don't remember if its the Fortified Manor, Watchtower, or Chapel kit though. I'm thinking it's the Watchtower though.

I like the results you are getting with the "instant mold" can you elaborate on this product, as in is there a brand name?, a web site? or some other source where one might obtain this product? thanks in advance, steveb

Hi Steveb. I got my instant mold on ebay from somone called thetrolltrader who sells some nice things. I couldint find a shop that sold it.
the real trick to instant mold is to do 2part molds and poke little holes in the mold so the air gets out when the green stuff goes in. ill make a tutorial when i use it next.

Another alternative to instant mold is a product called Friendly Plastic, if you search ebay there are a number of vendors selling it. It is much cheaper than instant mold and the results are identical. It works by softening it in hot water, pressing whatever you want to copy into the mold and letting it harden. I've used it for two part molds or just one sided things like scrolls.
