I'm having the same issues and am using the latest version of Firefox. All addons and subprograms/security are up to date. Firefox has been having lots of problems with different sites since the U.S. passed the law that makes information mining legal. This issue has cropped up on all browsers except those that are owned or operate with Google.
At my Uni, I was having a scripting error that prevented me from posting assignments online. Here it is specifically visual as the backgrounds and pictures have disappeared in addition to half of the scripts. The links/commands can still be highlighted and selected; but until you mouse over them, you are blind to everything but the main link trees at the top, the posts themselves, and the tools w/ emotes for creating them.
I just pulled up E-Internet explorer and navigated to the site using Bing. No issues were detected at all. I would change browsers, but security is compromised by the other browsers. I could care less about tracking, but am maintaining Firefox for now to discourage data-mining. (Which should be illegal as it leads to identity theft, but is not.)
