Hiya, guys! I just recently discovered this part of the forum
This will be a thread for my 40k stuff, so I can stop contaminating the B&P with it
I might mode the stuff from my first stuff thread here but any new 40k is going here instead, easily avaliable for critique and discussion.
So.
Since my first Apocalypse battle, I've been planning the next! My tyranids all got shot to death and vortexgrenaded into oblivion. Apparently I didn't have enough models.
So I'm planning an Endless Swarm formation. For you who don't know it, it's 120+ gaunts of any flavour with the ability to re-enter play when they die. So limitless numbers of gaunts! So far I've got my 40-ish number of rippergaunts, my post-exterminatus verion of the termagaunt, and to this I've started adding others. I've got bodies to fill the empty bases and 50-60 more coming by mail anytime soon. So there is going to be a veritable sea of gaunts! (A lot to paint, though...)
As my bio-titan got vortexed, I figure I need more titans to stop it from happening again. So from my spare Hierophant body I'm building a Viragon, a creature only known from obscure gaming cards and wikis. Basically a Titan-sized Mawlock. I'm going to have to design some rules for it as well
My sister donated this mosasaur to use in the conversion.
And here is progress so far, a bit enhanced by photomanipulation to show how the finished product might look.
