They look great, especially the banner - where are the minis from?
One of the big wigs... once told them "If a household doesn't have an income of $70,000, we don't consider them a GW target customer."

Norsemen are great I know and they fit to my Ulric idea perfectly! Today I was thinking to replace swords from whole unit and put axes from gw marauders box.  What do you think?

I don't really know much about collectors figures but I would be really careful with the conversion you suggested. These Norse look rare to me and once you cut off their swords, I'd assume they loose a lot of value. Thats obviously only if you consider selling them at a later point. If you don't I think axes would be great. And a lot more "historically" accurate (since only few people had the money to afford a whole sword). Axes would probably also make the unit wilder. I don't know why but for some reason, axes seem more savage to me...

dude Foundry Miniatures have the largest range of Viking/Norse style models

http://wargamesfoundry.com/historical_ranges/single_packs/ancients/viking/?sector_id=12&page=all

the quality is GW standard,

i have lots of them used in my Kislev unit in my PLOG

you should try some of the wolf / bear skin ones

Hi
I am not going to sell them... they are worth now a lot I think but I don't mind to cut their swords. i want to see whole unit with axes or swords not mixed, so I can do two things: separate exes one from swords and buy more to make nice 25-30 strong units or just convert it as i said.

Lovely! Thanks! I saw them before but I've totally forgot about them! Thanks for reminding me. And I'm going to see yours right now!
But the question is on which page of your blog I can find these models?

We are really thinking alike...
I'm also going to get several of those boxes (I'm a space wolf player in 40K, so that means even more boxes haha) and use the unridden wolves as unit fillers. And those thunderwolves will be the mount for my KotWW. I will count them as demigryph riders once the new empire book is out...
Amazing times for Ulric players. Now all we need is some Ulric love in the new empire book...

They are. I will be tempted to get a few of those for My Mystery Project (MMP) after I finish my current army.

I saw those Fenris wolves last night and I immediately thought they'd be awesome mixed into units, Ulric, Kislev, or otherwise.
I got my affordable healthcare. Now I need affordable miniatures.

Not likely, you're like the rest of us. Ideas come to you faster than you finish any :P

There's no help for what we do. Mainly because none of us can afford psychiatric help....we already used the money on more minis
