Thanks for the kind words chaps.

@griffit - Yep, the plan is to do a unit of 5 but we'll see where it goes and what time permits.

Cheers,

Dante

Not a huge amount of visible progress on this chap in the last few days, mainly work to clean areas up and add small folds etc:

I've also started working on the base structure for the second arm, as well as beginning to bulk out the sword arm a bit more. Still much work to be done on both, but it's beginning to take shape.

I've also got the head I've sculpted (pictured) ready for casting now so hope to send it off shortly.

At the moment, work on the torso and legs is almost done for now until I begin adding details to the belt etc. These will come once the head and arms are ready though.

Cheers,

Dante

Interesting to see how this guy is coming together.  Thanks for sharing the ongoing picture updates. :::cheers:::

Interesting to see what you are doing with this character. Personally I'm not quite sure wth your direction thus far, though having almost finished Assassin's Creed 2, I can understand your desire.

Midaski - the skull shoulder pads were for Chaos Dwarfs - very stumpy and flat. It appears Dante was after a thinner look. And unfortunately the heat here in summer has meant I haven't done much hobby for a few months.

Progress....minor, but progress all the same!

Have been working on the shoulder of the jacket and on the sleeves a bit more. Still A LOT to do on them and the shoulders though.

More soon!

Excellent folds on the cloth, and using the gold wizard mask works really well.

Wow, that is looking better and better every time I see it! My only quibble, and it is probably just an artifact of the angle the photo it is taken at, but his right foot really has the look and feel of a left foot. It is very subtle but it definitely looks that way in the last photo and in the photo on your blog.

Okay, it might've been only a matter of time before someone took up the idea of converting the assassin from Creed. :-) Even more so from the sequel.

This is actually something I've been wanting to work on as well, since my roomate bought PS3 and Assassin's Creed 2, and he's been playing it like no tomorrow - and I gotta admit it looks fantastic, and the feel is awesome. I just haven't had the time to start my version of the conversion project.

Anyways, even though I would someday start my own version, I doubt it'd e even nearly as fantastic as this. Very, very, VERY awesome, to but it lightly!

I just freakin' love. Sorry I don't yet have much criticism to offer, but it might even be a bit futile before we ca really see what's it going to be like with more finishing touches.

Keep at it! I really love this one.
