Hey folks, I'm putting together an Ostland army. I mainly build scenery and have been working on the Burgomeister's Mansion for quite a considerable amount of time.
My army will be led by the Burgomeister himself. This plog will hopefully follow the progress of this army, the terrain associated with it and a wargaming table specifally built for this army. This will probably take some years to complete and I intend to document progress here.

To start things off, here's the Burgomeister's Mansion.

These photos were taken over a year ago and I have now weathered the building to look suitable Warhammereque.
More pics to follow shortly.

That is quite possibly the best bit of Warhammer scenery I've ever seen.  A great way to introduce yourself here!

If you have an work in progress pics, please share them.

Nice to see this finally popped up in here!  :eusa_clap: I've  seen pics of this building on few other sites and watched all the making-of-videos , just amazing.
The reason for my uniform being a slightly different color to yours is never explained.

Please choose one or more of the following dry comments;

"That building is worth more than my house."

"The Burgomeister is compensating for something."

"Don't just stand there, damnit - help me pick my jaw off the floor."

I have stumbled on your project on another forum via a google search several months ago. I was (and still am) very impressed with the dimensions and the quality of this ambitious project. Well done!  :::cheers:::

I hope you intend to post the work in progress shots of the building as well and maybe even the painting tips that I have seen from you. I'm sure the others would enjoy them as well.

That's AWESOME! Would love to see some of the more up-to-date pics (as well as the WiP pics everyone else has asked for) - the bottom layer looks a lot less weathered than the rest in the photos you posted, and I'm interested to see what you ended up doing with it.

Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the army. :)

Hey, thanks for all the positive comments and feedback, always appreciated.
Here's some more up to date pics with the weathering.

And a picture of the model deconstructed for painting. Here you will notice parts that are not in the above photos. Each elevation (side) of the building is slightly different, these shall all be revealed when the project is finished.

Thanks again, WIP pics to follow.
