Detachment Rules

If a parent company (such as great swords) has the Gleaming Pennant, does the detachment get to use the reroll?

Hmmm, the detachment is able to use the Ld of the parent, but I don't think they will be able to use this ability by the Pennant for re-rolling the first Ld test. As this isn't one of the 8? passed on specific rules (or a prayer).

Though I think the Gleaming Pennant is only usefull on a unit that hasn't got a BSB nearby and to be honest I can't see why the Greatswords would not be close to a BSB (often a BSB is taken in the Greatsword unit)

And if the regimental unit has a Lichebone Pennant [MR2] or Standard of Discipline [+1 Ld] (or any other magic standards with bonus for that matter), does that transfer to the detachment unit?

The only special rules that are transferred from the Parent to the Detachment under the Detachment rule are leadership and "psychological" effects as listed on p. 30 of the AB, i.e. Frenzy, Hatred, HtL, Immune to Psychology, Stubborn, steadfast and Stupidity.
