Now that I have booked the village hall room and have a date it is time to tell the wider forum about this.
Second Yorkshire 'Mini-Bash'
Saturday 21st July 2012 in Ackworth, West Yorkshire, one day only event (as before) with a room booked 11.30 - 6.30, after which a gathering of those who wish to stay a while for a pub meal and a pub drink :::cheers:::
Due to its one day nature it's an event aimed at local forumites.
We did one back in 2010 and it was fun. I have already tested the waters and have 8 attendees who reckon they can come. From this forum we have Rufus, Damo_b and Uryens de Crux, plus me. Then there is Uryen's lady wife, and three blokes - Simon, Daz and Jamie - who once in a blue moon visit this forum. Rufus has someone from his vicinity in mind too. So 9 so far.
I still have to go down again and 'case the joint' re: currently available tables, but we seemed to do ok last time.
But who else is interested? Is the date a likely one for you, FR1DAY? And it ain't too far for you, Volks (easy-ish trains to Fitzwilliam, next village). And it's down the A1 for you, Jimbeanie.

Wow looks good. Thats not too far from me, its just a shame I don't play fantasy anymore.
