500 points for escalation league

As i was putting this list together the one thing i liked most about it is the exact model count could be meet with each purchase example: Need 20 models 10 models per box need 2 boxes no leftovers =D (mildly OCD), but i digress.  With points being kinda limited and me expecting to encounter quite a few tough things I've decided to go with an army that try's to reduce their numbers before engaging so here's the list, just let me know if you guys would change anything.

General: Warrior Priest AoMI GW               120 points

Core: 20 Halberdiers Musc & Standard       140 points

Special: Great Cannon                                120 points
 
Rare: Hellblaster volley gun                        120 points

                                                     Total:      500 points

At 500 points I'd drop that cannon for 2 detachments of 10 Free Company. That would be somewhat horrid having that many hatred attacks at that small of a points level.

I agree with dropping the cannon at this point level.  I love cannon, but it's not likely to earn its keep.  I want to tell you to replace it with a Helblaster, but they require babysitting by an engineer to be worth their salt, and that's too pricey at this point level.

I agree with the poster above: putting more bodies on the field is a solid idea, particularly if they're detachments.
