2500p all cav all the time. A different take on the new book...

Joey_Boy:
Hey folks!

So I'v been tinkering with the new book and I'm trying to find something fun to play with and I think I might have finally found it. It's an all cav army with no mages and some fun with the new funky units!

The idea is to play very agressively and use the Luminarks as quasi-cannons untill it's time to switch into chariot mode for the supporting charge. The Hurricanum will try and stay out of CC unless it needs to and just move around trying to add the +1 to hit where ever I need it the most. Magic might be a problem at times but with speed and an over saturation of targets I'm only really worried about Metal magic as it can fry my 1+as units pretty fast. Right now I have most of the stuff for the list(16 of the knights and both Griffons as well as the heros) and I'll likely be building my own wizard wagons and DRK in some type of steam-punk manner making the cost of the army rather low. Any thoughts on the list and style of it from veteran cavalry players would be smashing! :)

Folken:
Hmm well it definitely looks fun!
Got enough threats to just kill any mages who give you trouble. I don't think the standard of discipline is that useful as your general does have 18" Ld 9 radius.
I am not big on giving full command to 6 man core knight units but thats my only real issue.  Show us some battle reports when you get a chance.
If you have VC's in your meta then ethereals will be a big issue but thats my only concern.

wardancer:
if your Demigryphs run, you lose one guy with a standard, so i personally would skip them. Other than that list looks solid :)

Talben21:
I would dump 1 Griffon and 1 Lumindark and add 1 Steam Tank!

That will give you a real cannon to handle things and that and the Stank is awesome in this edition.

I would also try and find a way to get a lvl 2 wizard with a dispel scroll.

Folken: Thats a good point about the +1Ld. I could swap it for the rangers banner and go running in and out of woods. If I change Huss for a normal WP with a challenge kit I would also have points for the warbanner or steel standard on the DGK. I think I like it :)
There will be no battle reps unless I wander in to the UB realm some day. As it is right now, I'm looking to build and buy half the list and as such want to tweak it for a bit before I go and buy the stuff.

Wardancer: I know, and I have been debating if it's worth it. No the Gleaming units it is worth the points as I can run them outside the General Ld and the BSB bubbles if needed. If I'm adding the warbanner to the other unit it will really help out against soft CR units if I where to fluff my attacks.

Talben: No chickens will be left behind in this list! It's a personal preference where I just want to use them as I have 4 or so lying around and want a chicken based army :) I could drop both Luminarks and something small for the STank. It would be less stuff to build and thats nice. I'll have a look at this.
