2500 Griffon Style Formation

Hello,

I was very impressed with the Griffon Formation articles and decided to try a version for myself.

Lords
Arch Lector - 194 This fella will be my general and will be placed in the halberdier horde to pass along hatred to the parent and detachments
- Armor of Destiny
- Crown of Command
- Shield
- Iron Curse Icon

Battle Wizard Lord - 225 This guy will be bunkered in the archers. I'm thinking lore of light or lore of shadow to support the infantry.
- Dispel Scroll

Heros
Captain of the Empire - 141 Survivable bsb to pass along hold the line and leadership rerolls to the halberdier horde and detachments.
- Full Plate
- Enchanted Shield
- Talisman of Preservation

Warrior Priest - 85 Hatred for the Reiksguard and prayers
- Barded warhorse
- Shield
- Heavy Armor

Witch Hunter - 55 For the occasional wizard kill but mostly for the magic resistance. Will be placed in the halberdier horde to counteract foot of gork or some equally painful uber kill spell.
- brace of Pistols

Core
50 Halberdiers  with full command- 330 Benefits from a slew of buffs from the Captain, Arch lector and possibly the wizard. Does muchg of the killing
20 Swordsmen Detachment - 140 My goal for these guys are to flank charge when possibly, but mostly to delay,hold or get in the way of other things so the halberdiers/Rieksguard can do their job. Will benefit from the same (or mostly the same) buffs as the parent unit
20 Swordsmen Detachment - 140 (same as above)

10 Archers - 140 Provides a bunker for the wizard. Will be arranged in the commonly known "Inverted Griffin" style
5 Archer detachment - 35 Redierctors, running over a mangler squiq etc.
5 Archer detachment - 35 (same as above)

Special
Cannon x 2 - 240 Monster killers and counter battery fire

9 Reiksguard  with full command and Steel Standard - 243 Another hammer unit to slam into the flanks of an enemy unit being held up by the stubborn detachments or the halberdier horde.

Rare

Steam Tanks x 2 - 500 More monster killing and counter battery fire. Also to hold up and grind powerful units so the griffon formation can perform.

Thoughts and suggestions? Readjustments?

Rather than a double stank I would have taken another unit of knights to act as another arm to your army but I can see what you're doing and I like it  :::cheers:::
