Warrior of Ulric/Norse type conversion

Working slowly to that 24 many unit of DOW Norse/Warriors of Ulric, I have finished the second mini for the regiment. Several more I converted in the last few days but have been mainly working on painting up my Dwarfs, this was a break from them though with the similar beards and armour formula.

The mini consists of the torso of a Mordheim Witch hunter Flagellant, with green stuff chainmail, and the legs from a Chaos Marauder.



So thoughts comments?

nice conversion i have to say my own warriors of ulric are alittle less original(militia box conversions) i like how uv done the great weapon and shield. Also the beard and hair seems alittle exsessive, but heh their could have been a dwarf in the barn one night...

I like it, the only thing I don't like is that the chainmail looks a bit big or is it just the photo?

Well done all in all, conersion and painting! Keep it up. ;)

His father or mother could have been a dwarf? :)

Nice conversion! The only thing that bugs me is the position of the shield, it's not really strapped to his back and neither is it held up by his arm.
To me it just seems to 'hang' there.

Will all of your conversions be based on Flagellants?

Mother! Mother! fool there are no dwarf woman. Just an after thought on your model u might want to extend the haft of the axe with some copper wire, it looks alittle stumpy.

Fools! Dwarf women have beards too and that's why people assume there are no women amongts them!
