I'm glad that's temporary.  Please don't make anything like that permanent.

The land ship looks awesome on its own.  :::cheers:::

Here we are, all ready for action.
Hopes for this years tournament:

Dont get tabled
Win a game (yay)
Cast transformation whenever able (I have promised myself to forget any tactical considerations and just go for it)

Your army really is painted beautifully.
Good luck for the tournie!

Thanks you, it is ongoing. So far mixed result, first match a big win, then a small loss and finally I was massacred. Got the dragon in and it caused mayhem in game one so that was great :). On the whole im fairly pleased, 2 more games today.

Well, so it is over. First of all I must say 2 days of gaming really is draining. After the first couple of games I felt I started to lose focus, tbh I think I enjoy casual gaming more. That said the opponents where friendly and the tournament as such was just fine.
To summarize the result.

Won first game big against Demons, got the dragon out early and for some reason my opponent didnt dispel it the next 2 turns so it plowed through his army, not sure if he didnt understand he could dispel it but the card was placed next to the dragon so it should be easy enough to remember. Anyway I wiped him and had moderate losses, 17-3. Nice opponent that was pretty new to the game.

Next game was against a vastly more experienced opponent, an ETC member with a lizardmen army. I didnt really have much hope for that game but it actually went pretty well. I could hardly fail an armor test and his magic caused surprisingly few problems. I did loose in the end with 12-8 but I was really quite pleased with that.

Third game was against a highly mobile high elf army, all cav and a star dragon. Sufficient to say I got seriously outplayed and never got into the match, a massacre.

Second day and fourth game, started like the last day ended, this time against Ogres. His character packed deathstar ground me down and my steamtank got stuck on gnoblars and hardly killed anything, wasnt wiped but lost big.

Last game was woodelves. It started out pretty bad, loosing the rolloff for first turn (did that in every game) and his fast stuff started to flank me and the bowmen shoot me. I lost a lot of troops early on but nothing very vital. Then I managed to shoot his generals (the twin thingies) and hurt the dragon with my cannon, one of the few times it did anything. Then I was able to cast the transformation that really saved my greatswords in battle against his big block. Next turn he amazingly rolled a total of 2 power dice and couldnt dispel so the dragon ate his wizard and after that it all fell apart for him, a 18-2 for me.

I ended up in the lower half but not in the very bottom.

However...I won best painted! Very very happy about that ofcourse, got many nice comments about the army so all in all happy days.  :-P
