A thought occurred to me this morning as I was driving - is it possible to change the font used in the forum to a fixed-width font?  Fixed-width fonts, while typically less attractive, would make certain things a lot easier.  For example, all the text-based unit diagrams we do could be more easily drawn, and tables could be done well also.  Just a thought....

I think if you use the code tags then it is in courrier.

Code: [Select]

That all lines up right?

I'd pay an extra 15 points or so to be able to take the engineer out back and shoot him.

About the font, unfortunatley its not. The W3C made browsers allow users to change the size of a font regardless of a webpage.

Drawing diagrams with dots and dashes has always been a skill with phpBB forums, something we all have to contend with.

Drawing a real picture is worth a thousand words.....

That's a great solution, thanks!  I'll be sure to do that in the future.

Can't the default font be set, however, either through css or some other means?
