Ha! I didn’t pack any. First OS trip I haven’t. Which is fine, despite it being a lovely day in Amsterdam (and Kukenhof) today, I wouldn’t have worn them yet.

*Keukenhof* Kitchen court... strictly translated.. don't ask why :)

Still in the Netherlands? or already choo choo'ing else where?

Sorry, yes, was trying to pump out messages quickly. I knew it didn’t look right. We took a plane to Copenhagen today. Staying here for 5 nights - longboat ride, legoland, other stuff...

Also, we pronouced Bruges as Brugge because thats what they call it, however I have decided thats not what I will call it when talking about it elsewhere, because otherwise I would need to call all cities in their native tongue, which just gets a bit confusing. Rome / Roma, Milan / Milano, Florence / Firenze, Venice / Venezia, Paris / Paris (pronounced differently). Talking to other English speakers, but saying it the non english way will make me seem more pretentious than I do already (if I do?)....

I hate people who don't paint their armies, hate them with all my guts. Beats me how they value other things over painting, like eating or brushing teeth.

It's been a little while but I got a new update for here!

As I got my Soul Wars box (and sold off the Nighthaunt part) I got some more models. Now as I was on pre-order day in the GW store I got a Sequitor model free to paint up and enter a small competition on release day. I got 2nd out of 7 in my category, so pretty nice!

from my regular update blog post:

And a group shot of the complete Soul Wars box (SE side) plus the extra Sequitor and an extra Evocator that I won with the lottery on release day (together with a nice Imperium shoulder bag)

I love the colors. The dark green and red robes especially turned out really well. I might end up doing similar colors myself, although with a bit more blue in places. The brown on the arms really breaks it up nicely.
