I find the trailer rather bland to be honest.

The trailer for the new Thor movie got me hyped and I've seen it multiple times these last few days, but this one...."Ok I saw it..."

I am iffy. As I think back, Force Awakens was good, but not great. I am not sure that the Last Jedi will be able to sustain the energy now that the nostalgia is gone. Lacking Han, the movie will have a great deal to overcome.

This is the only Trailer I will watch. Now I have to filter out all the rumors, leaks, and dissections of future trailers. Force Awakens wasnt anything perfect but it was fun!

My worry is it will be a reboot of Empire, as TFA was a reboot of Hope.

I too liked those characters, but I didn't feel that the film was very good in places. It hand waved so many things and basically felt like it was a reboot of the entire series, not just a continuation. The style of things, the utter lack of a military commensurate with the size of the new Republic etc.

The prequels, for all they lack, captured the scale better.

I dont watch any star wars trailers. I want no spoliers at all. I knew too much about the EU back in the day, my mind will wander too far and they have already headed a different direction anyway.

I hope it will be more in tone of Rogue One, than TFA. I like my sci-fi to be gritty and grim (and dark).

I thought they were both good, but I lean towards Rogue One myself. Although I hear some people who felt it was very different for a star wars movie and I can see why they say that. it's part of what made it more interesting for me. TFA reused a bit to much of New Hope for me. Still a good movie.
