well after a short break in painting I have returned with some home made movement trays most likely to be used this weekend on another note by the end of this week you will probably get to see some reiksguard using conversions to warlord games cavalry and a couple of home made molds for the conversion bits depending on how long it takes to ship. but until then enjoy 3 hours of splinters, super glue, and most likely some blood some where as caused by the tons of sharp pieces of wood.

there was a 3rd one but the file refuses to upload so for now enjoy these.

3 or 4 hours total if you plan of making any of your own I would suggest always cutting it at least an extra figures length at first just to be sure it can hold all the models before any borders are placed.

Thanks, but I actually have enough plastic movement trays, but was interested in your hard and impressive work. The final effect is great. :smile2:

well some models just arrived this time warlord games cuirassiers so first things first here is a picture of one of the horsemen

and an overall shot of the boxes contents

and this really wouldn't be warlord games unless the weapons had to be bent back into place

and some pictures of what they will look like once I get some molds made of the lances and the shield

hopeful will get some of the command models done soon

well got the captain of the reiksguard painted here are some pictures looking at the slight size issues I decided to not use the other champion so just cut that out of the lore. also my second attempt at a better base after finding I had some fine grain "snow" from the army painter so I just painted over that so just ignore any really light parts in the green

the captain upon his horse

a front view of the captain

the back of the captain

also I got the last movement tray photo to upload so here it is

well the blue stuff arrived and a couple of molds have been made and a couple of miscasts have been "removed" but the shield came out fine after cutting around the edges it is flat around the edges but it's cold and I'm cold and the mold was cold, I think your getting my point of "I don't want to"

would have been easier if I didn't have to remake a couple of the molds  :|

I like the shield. The captain looks great, but personally I'd put him on a barded warhorse. :-P

I got the catachans from a guy at my local store, ended up not needing 7 old catachans (lost 1 darn cats) to fight for his 2 imperial knights.

expect the first of the hargendorf artillery very soon

"November 22"

okay I may have lied but worry not, I have the first gun done, here I present the volley gun and it's crew

and here is the captain, known as Ludwig shuzelk a commander who made a name for himself fighting off countless dark elf raids, destroying many boats before they could ever hit the coast with accurate cannon fire, he eventually retired to the city of salzenmund, how ever when he heard hargendorf was under siege he quickly grabbed his old uniform and set to join the relief column as it progressed to once again fend off an invasion.

and the rest of the crew

and of course because I found some terminators in space hulk I decided to paint one up

T9A must have rubbed off on me. After I read "imperial guard", it took me a while to get that you were talking about 40k

here is the warrior priest, completed start to finish in 4 hours

the warrior priest known as "brother Sigismund" started his career acting as an "envoy" of the arch lector, sent to "gather" information of possible chaos cults throughout the empire, as well as a couple of foreign assistance missions to Brettonia and Kislev, he made quite the name for himself after defeated a small cult deep in the reikwald, after hearing that another warrior priest was sent and presumably killed, brother sigismund hacked his way through the forest slowly stalking the cult, he was able to spot that at the front of the group was the missing warrior priest, he soon realized that the priest had indeed betrayed the church and seemingly was assisting the cult with the help of several stolen books that had gone unnoticed, he waited till the perfect moment, as the cult split with the priest and several other cultist went into a small shack upstream of the river reik and the rest stood guard, he slowly moved the window of the shack was able to see that the priest had done more then stolen a couple of books, he was in fact plotting an uprising in the town of  Osburg, he quickly preformed the only action sigmar would agree with, he picked up a torch and lit the cabin on fire, he proceeding beat the cultist to death and made sure to watch and confirm the cult went with the cabin. he soon was sent to salzenmund after the arch lector heard of the assault on hargendorf, he set off the next day and arrived in time to leave with the column
