Nuln and Wissenland Players
« on: March 13, 2018, 12:58:57 AM »
Are there any Nuln/Wissenland armies about? Iím painting a 6e one now and am looking for inspiration. Got any pictures?

As my knightly order, Iím using the Black Hammers from the fluff.

I love Nuln and I have a substantial Nuln army in the making... which I really need to paint one day. Pinterest will be able to help you. There are a lot of cool arts there.

Yep! Here an owner of a confederal Empire army. Forces sorted by aprox. number of points: Reikland, Stirland, Averland, Wissenland, Nuln, Altdorf.

The two schemes you are interested on were the lasts ones I chose, and it was mainly due the project I am currently carrying on with some lunatics (The Gates of Kislev), where we needed as many Empire provinces' regiments as we could. Particularly I had some reserves with Wissenland but after researching a bit and trying the schemes on the minis I were convinced. Specially when I found red and yellow as good contrasting colours to grey and white (even in weapons). I would strongly recommend the book 'The Empire: Uniforms & Heraldry' as a source for inspiration.

I attach you some pics of the army, note that the infantry regiments have been painted on a 'just base colours' basis due time limitations.
