Agree.
I think its his American intenseness. Us Aussies prefer a more relaxed brit, than a more intense American.
I'm an American and although his occasional use of sound effects entertaining I do agree something seems slightly off about his vibe compared to his compatriot.
While they (Square Based) do cover Old World they focus so much on the rules and playing Warhall . . . however a podcast is just not a great format for those. I'd rather hear about many other things while painting than just rules reviews. Things like their favorite piece of lore, their favorite models from certain lines, why you should collect X army, how people got started in the hobby, lore of a specific faction, guest speakers, how to run a tournament, lessons learned from games, question write in from guests, their recommended non GW gaming products, etc. etc. etc.
Oh well beggars can't be choosers.
