Welcome!

So the basics is that my lord is trying to become the new elector count, and have used what money and power he have to round out his army whit mercs. might have to start a thread or two, one for fluff and one for tactics.

So an upstart militant noble? And we can see a civil war in the making in Averland? Sounds like a splendid topic for a story & hobby plog!

Forget the 6'x4' game, focus on the story beyond that. Because fantasy matters.

Ah-ha!!

I started with WFB 3rd edition and WFRP 1st edition.
During the last half of last year I got back into both.

I am playing WFB 3rd edition using 10mm figures due to time, space and budget restraints.
I have an Empire army and my wife Dark Elves.

In WFRP I am the GM and have introduced some geeky mates into the world of both RPGs and The Old World.

Hello! My name is Angelo, but you can call me CrimsonShield, or Crimson for short  I played WHFB and 40k on and off for about 15 years now, and I'm looking to get a bit more involved with the hobby again. I'm kind of bad at talking about myself, but if anyone has any questions, ask away.

Hello everyone,

My name is Miguel and I just found Heresy-Online after browsing the internet looking for a forum page like this one.

I moved to the UK in 2014 from Spain and I was focused on work since then.

I have been away from the game for a while now, a good decade or so, but during lockdown I subscribed to the White Drawf magazine and regained contact with the hobby.

Back in Spain I have an extensive High Elves army, and old one too be honest, filled with dragons and horses which they always looked the coolest for me growing up.

I must confess painting is not a gift I possess so the quality of my miniatures paint is not great. I enjoyed the lore, creation of characters and battle preparation, as well as the battle itself, way more. I haven't played one in years and I now miss it a lot!

I guess this is my way of trying to reach out the the Warhammer community and "test the waters" as they say before I start any new army of any game type. So if you guys have any suggestions, tips or recommendations they will all be more than welcome.

Thank you for your time and I hope we can get the conversation going in here!

I find a good way to be conversing here is to read multiple threads across the different areas, and respond according to your interests while sharing your thoughts and experiences.
