Hi Rorrak

You and the General seem to have some figures disagreement?

HE has Talabecland at 75475 some 9000 more?

Stirland is the same and we are 33825 according to him, instead of 33000 as you have us.
After some of his earlier maths   and considering the end of round pressure, and of course the stress of his Mum's visit - is he right???

Are you sure you applied the +50% modifier to Skirmish battles as well?

All battles, including Skirmishes, reported to Bechafen during this round will gain a 50% bonus modifier

If you peruse my tally, you'll notice I didn't apply the 50% bonus to any battle posted at Bechafen - I initially forgot, then figured it would be easier to just carry on and apply the 50% modifier in one swoop afterwards, which i did ;)

Thats the problem. The 50% bonus wasn't applied across the board. I actually missed the bonus when reading the rounds rules Sad

Fine - then the Talas did staggeringly well.

Was that our poorest round for battles? :?:
I think personally I have organised more gaming in the last few rounds, since our SE Camapign Day down here, ........ and generally with members back at school for example, games seem to have tailed off.
Stirland have given up I think, and our floating membershop seems to be floating ........... somewhere far away :-D

I sent out about 30 emails the other day trying to drum up some support - to very little avail.

mmmm, going to have to check the Generals tally.

I've now correctly applied the 50% modifier and my scores are somewhat different from his still. Its quite possible I've messed up so need to check that.

See above for scores with the 50% included.

@General

Did you add 50% to the overall score for a faction at Bechafen. Thats a little off because its 50% on top of the other modifiers also.

eg. Score 400 + 25%  = 500
     Score 400 + (25% + 50%) = 700

or global application
   Score (400 + 25%) + 50% = 750

However, its probably just my not thinking clearly after a bad night.

Oh, that's the thing then

What figure do you arrive at?

Don't know what Houdini bought when he went to the store
But I sure do miss the eighties

You know, I would honestly let the figures stand as they are. The gap between us is so similar as to be not be a campaign swinger either way.

My figures are now above. Very Very close to yours. Oddly I come up with slightly higher values than your totals but the difference is just about the same.

I really feel stupid having missed the 50% bonus.

Looks like we can let this be as it is. Thanks for keeping the tally! It's good to have a second set of brains go over these figures. Don't worry about missing the 50% thing, Round 8's modifiers were rather involved - as you can tell, they confused me too :)
