Ulrich von Lichtenstein

Hi,

Here's some pictures of my empire army. The main character, Ulrich von Lichtenstein is the grand Master of the order of the Red Plume. Ulrich believes every empire soldier should at least own a horse. This is why Ulrich always rides to battle surrounded by the knights of his order.

I'm going to post more pictures soon. I hope you like the first few photos!

Warrior Priest Otto Klepke:

Boris Obersdorf, captain of the white wolves:

My handgunners:

Except for those staring eyes...

The handgunners don't have horses? Shouldn't you use outriders instead?

Nice big unit of knights.
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

Siberius

Can a man really change his stars?

Nice stuff, though the Warrior Priest looks really odd from this angle...

Magic does not have nearly the same problems with power levels as magic.

Ulrich von Lichtenstein

@ Fr1day: If I wanted an army with knights only, I would have played Brettionians :). 5 units is more than enough. I do have pistoliers though.

@Siberius: The warrior priest pulls his steed to the left (he tries to turn his horse).

Here's two extra pics:

My inner circle knights:

Only made the comment because of your fluff

Outriders fit this bill, no?

Also the knights of the White wolf are famed for their use of hammers and their disdain of shields.

Nice use of the character horses for the inner circle knights
:-o

talk about an expensive unit..wow looks good dude :smile2:
Yes I'm dyslexic so what

Nicholas Ironfist

I like it so far...but... shouldn't Ulrich be wearing green with a sort of green pattern with wooden toggles?  :icon_eek:

You know, this thread is going to be littered with quotes  :-P.

Those inner circle knights are the best thing so far... they look great!

That's what my first thought was  :biggriin:
But I'm a lurker so

Also I love your IC Knights despite how horrible expensive it must have been to do (unless you got them cheap then I'll just be plain annoyed )

GamesPoet

I like the red you are using. :icon_cool: :::cheers:::

Interesting way to distingish the inner circle knights, too.

I don't like Inner circle knights there just a bunch of silly boys with a stick.  :icon_biggrin:

Ulrich von Lichtenstein

@ Nicholas: The national colour of Lichtenstein is red (and blue), that is why I chose the red theme  :icon_lol:

The Inner circle unit is expensive (altough I got some discount). I just wanted something special for my army. I've used the banner of the Ludwig model for al the standards in my army, so its not only the 5 models that I invested in

I've almost finished my white wolf knights. I will post some pictures when they are done.

My army hasn't got a state or provice which it can call home (maybe Carroburg?). Any suggestions?

FR1DAY

Carroburg is in Middenland so the state colours are blue.

The carroburg greatswords are a Reikland regiment who wear dark red uniforms to remember their victory there. The red represents the blood stained uniforms after the battle. In the empire army book.

looking forward to seeing your knights of the white wolf  :icon_eek:

I have finished my white wolves. I'm happy with the result, although they seem a little small compared to the captain   :icon_rolleyes:

I've made my swordmen out of the 6th edition spearmen and added the ludwig schwartzhelm model on foot as the standard bearer.

When I have a better camera I shall try to make a group shot.
