I think you have a nice collection and a great army there  :::cheers:::. I am not an expert on heraldy but what is the background of your army? Does the combination of green and orange refer to Nordland?
Or are your troops for hire?

Whom do you serve, swordsman?

Henerius

You must be Irish or at least have an Irish relative. The only thing gone missing is the harp.

The greatsword with the skellie head is a bit..   to metal for me though. Great mix of new and older models.   :::cheers:::

thanks to all three of you for your comments, it's nice to get some feed back because i haven't been painting models for very long.
I am half Irish and i was trying to represent that in my army and i really should have thrown in a harp somewhere but i just forgot.

Valetus

looking quite good. I would suggest doing a bit more work on the shields as they are often a focal point on a model and currently look a bit flat compared to the rest of the miniature.

eliseau

thanks for the advice.
what would you suggest as far as how you do your shields?

two more pictures

steam tank and battle standard bearer

just a better angle of the battle standard bearer's face

Henerius

the man on that piece of rubble has a Boromir thing going on...  "for gondor!"

If I didn't see the vase the picture would have been spectacular   the flowers hanging from the sky ;)

Very nice! I like how natural your colours feel. The blue feathers and the steam tank are a bit flat perhaps, but the rest is really nice. I'm digging the bronzish look your greatswords have.
The flowers really fit with the army, by the way!
Quote from: SiberiusI never noticed your height on account of your fabulous manly imperial beard.

I usually do mine with a relief on them (i.e. the older edition ones) but otherwise I paint the reikland symbol on.  I think a few battle makes on the plain ones and a lighter metal highlight on the ones that do have a symbol could improve it. I wouldn't change them to simply coloured such as halved as I like your bare metal look.
