Tapestry of Sigmar's Triumph + Assailment spells

So the Tapestry says all models in the unit get to re-roll 1s to wound made during the combat phase, is there any thing prevents this working with Assailment spells (eg Hammerhand, doppleganger, etc)?

I'm looking for something that confirms it won't work but can't see anything!

I see no reason why it wouldn't work with spells

Perforated:
It says "any rolls to wound". So since there is no limitation it would apply to all rolls to wound made by that unit. That would include assailment spells.
