First, sorry to whoever voted on the Dwarf thread, but i'd rather have 1 manual poll thread rather than a bunch of threads for the auto ones. So here are the Polls we need to vote on, i'll keep track and make sure no one cheats and such....
Current Polls
We've decided to have a Major Engineer character, should we have a Wizard as well?

1. Dwarfs
In a vote of 17-1, it has been decided that we shall not fight against the dwarfs. This means if you really have to fight them, make up a good excuse fluf-wise (they attacked you, they were bewitched, etc. etc.)
2. Knightly Order
In a vote of 14-4, it has been decided that we will try to congregate our Knightly efforts on a specific Knightly Order.
3.Specific College
With a unanimous vote against, we will not be trying to congregate our use of the Colleges of Magic

Why not? why no have an overall background-story set of characters governing this portion of the campaign?

Smithbl and Nurglepuss, you need to post in the recruitment thread before voting, as currently you're not part of our campaign roster.

1. Should we concentrate our efforts?
B) Players Choice - There are several colleges that would be interested anyway- jade and amber college because we're clearing the forests, gold college because of the crown...

A) Yes - I'd seem like fun to me to have the two quarrel amongst each other, blaming one another for their mistakes :icon_wink:.

If we want a wizard as well, I'll volunteer my bright wizard Gerhard. See the nemesis fluff thread and get back to me...
He's not so much an advisor more a battle wizard, but it would be nice if we have the POV from a battle wizard caught up with religious nut balls.

Well, that would lead to some good arguements.
W: You're cannon went off early.
E: Well, if you hadn't've cast that fire ball, there wouldn't've been a spark!
W: My spells are always well cast, and nothing like that has ever happened.
E: And none of my guns have gone off early before.

Like the thought but surely if we are to have a wizard we should be careful about allowing them too cloe to the battlefield, it might not looks so impressive if Gerhard of Bogenhafen was killed 173 times during the campaign

Well when a model "dies" in combat, it could mean he is wounded too great to continue that day etc. So as long as we keep it consistant (i.e. have a big plan when/where/if characters should die), I think it will work out well. But that does bring up a good point. We'll need to do that for any characters we put in for all of us to use.
In regards to that I thought of another point. We need to be vague on dates in our reports or very consistent. It would be silly to have the same character in two places on any given IC day.
That also brings up characters in general. If we use the same characters in every region, it could lead to huge inconsistencies where/when a character is wherever.

Not neccesarily. Look at Southpark's Kenny, for example... :icon_rolleyes:
Well, that would lead to some good arguements.
How about a gold wizard? I can already hear the engineer screaming "Keep your bloody hocus-pocus off my gunpowder!"

I was thinking more along the line of background submission from his POV, reguardless of the actual battle score, doesn't have to die if he's only a name for submissions.
it's up to you guys, I write him as more powerful than he is on table top... Lvl 1 scroll caddies usally don't cast spells :icon_rolleyes:
Most people try for the keeping wizards out of it, but writing as a fire wizard and throwing them into the frey with the flaming sword is just so fun. Gehard would likely be slinking around the gunners, since the rest of the army wants to burn him. :icon_twisted:
