Title: Heart-Stone...Bad Job

this does not really affect you guys, but to avoid any confusion:

Just to give you guys notification.
The Dwarfs are no longer supporting the Heart-Stone fluff objective. We have been actively plugging this for 3 weeks now and have not gotten any mention in the official fluff.
Therefore we are only reporting Dwarf/Druchii conflict at Tor Thana, in aid of our allies.

I realize that your faction had incorporated the Heart-Stone objective into you races fluff. If you wish to proceed with this go ahead otherwise I would suggest that you revert back to your original goals or embark on something new for this region.

GW have failed to pick up on the storyline with three weeks solid plugging from Daw/Asur/Druchii forces and two week from Skaven/Vampire Counts/Chaos Mortals/Beasts of Chaos/Asrai/Lizard Men & Empire forces for awhile.

GW seems intend on having this as an Asur vs Druchii conflict.

The Dwarf faction has given this a good go, it was a nice idea. Sadly GW did not think so.

Thanks for letting us know Blackthorn.

In hindsight do you think the objective was jumping the shark a bit?

Nice try Blackthorn, I was hoping it would've caught hold as it would've been a cool story line!

And even now, Skaven forces fight deep in the Barren Hills as the Grey Seers have foreseen a victory in this territory will advance their foul goal.

The Skaven are still going to run with the Heart-Stone idea. The above quote from last weeks dispatch does concern me. They want the Heart-Stone to produce 100% pure warp-stone. I will rage if GW suddenly gives the Skaven the Stone, with no previous mention of it. I guess we can only wait and see what happens. Those rats are punching way above their weigh with respect to the amount of fluff they are generating. Those rats need closely watched.

The Heart-Stone was too ambitious. The only redeeming factor was the amount of races activity plugging it, that was the real driving force behind it. Unfortunately GW have not listened. It would have been nice to see a positive objective come to light.

Games Workshop not listening.... Gee, that's a shock!
