The pictures show some billmen and archers which look awesome, A small note at the end says that the next boxes will be Pikes, Crossbows and Handgunners!

I wonder how many there will be in a box and what the cost of the box will be?  :icon_wink:

 :-P

The ACW & Nap. boxed infantry sets are about us$26 for 36 and 42 figures, respectively. So I would assume the medievals will be somewhere in that range.

I'm hoping there's enough range in bits to accommodate varying proportions of bow vs. bill, and handgun/crossbow/pike. I'm not as worried about the bow & bill, but I'd like far more pike than crossbow/handgun.

Thats cheaper than I expected, thanks for that.

I'm with you on wanting more pikes than anything else but a few interesting billhooks would be good too.

Just had a thought... but the bill armed figures might be pretty easy to convert over to pikes. Similar to the Empire halberd to pike and spear to pike conversions.

Along that line, I like the idea of having some of those perry bill men in with the state troops halberdier ranks.

I know that they are listed as 28mm, but how close in scale are they to the empire figures?  I have been burned on several like that that adverted as 28mm and they might have been but they were no where close to the empire 28mm, ACW cavalry and celtic chariots to be specific.  Can anyone post a comparison picture please?  steveb

I saw somewhere on another site (Might be the one at the top of the thread in the comments section) with some comparisons between Perry, Front Rank and Citadel. The perry and front rank were slightly smaller, yet they still fit nicely together.
