They do speak French. My mother was at the kings ball in the 70s.

I know the Belgian royals speak French, I was just poking a bit of fun about the country being so clearly divided along the language lines. With royalty that means you've got to speak both languages absolutely fluently otherwise the other half of the country feels slighted.
Which the people still tend to feel whenever there is a speech made for a mixed crowd and the royal speaks 'that other language'.

The local drought has settled in. The good news is that this year we put up 3 hummingbird feeders and so far we have 8 or more fighting for their food. The aerial battles are quite entertaining.

Add some mumbo jumbo for effect.
Half of LARPers won't cross it. Ever.
