Um, I did. I got an extension because it was originally due Wednesday (the day we got back from break), and for obvious reasons I didn't work on it over break.

Looks like my graphics card just died. That sucks bigtime. Now I connected my ancient computer so I at least have internet... and the worst thing of all: today is the last day of my three weeks off. Back to work tomorrow. Which, incidentally, also means that I don't have the time to just go and buy a new one right away...

My hands are destoryed, did not have proper sailing gloves past weekend. Wet sheets + bare hands = pain.

Well, if you've not got that layer of dead skin on them I guess it will.

If you do it again for a 10 days or so they'll get them. Then it doesn't hurt.

Yeah, I know about the getting used to them. Gymnastics practice is starting again for me, so in a while I won't feel them anymore. The wind was a little hard to not get blisters and the like though- 24 knots basic with gusts up to 38 knots.

The strongest I've ever been out in was F8 gusting F9.

It was in a yacht in Corsica. We went out of the port, battled with the sea for a 15 minutes before turning around and heading back.

I jumped out of bed this morning (it's lofted), went to the shower, turned it on and the next thing I know I'm on the floor with a 5-inch gash in the back of my head. I've spent the last 5 hours in the ER. Fun.

They think I fainted. If you're lying down too long (sleeping...) or standing up too long you can faint. Apparently it's fairly common. I've got the aforementioned gash and a slight concussion. My head was about two inches away from the shower across from me, which has a metal rim thing on it. Now that would have been really fun.

Ouch. I fell on tiles once and did a similar thing only I cracked my skull too. Aparently you could see my skull.

Believe me I know how you feel. 7 hours isn't bad for the NHS either. Assuming you went to the NHS.

My friend slipped in the shower and got a big cut in his back (he broke those ceramic soap holder things on the wall) and had to be taken to the ER. That was about 10 years ago. He still give him shit because it was his sister who came in and found him naked on the ground...
