Napoleonic British Line Infantry test models
« on: October 16, 2011, 09:37:57 AM »
Hi all,

I'd resisted the temptation to get into Napoleonics... and the victrix and perry miniatures are extremely hard to resist... but without a rules set I was happy with I wasn't interested in playing a dbx/multibase version/50:1 figure representations etc...  Until I found a Warhammer-esque one called Waterloo (not the GW ancient battles one) online at freewebs.com with warhammer/LOTR like rules, nice army lists, and some good scenarios to get in to the swing and some nice rules ideas for company based games upwards... anyhow I got some Brits...

Here's my victrix test models, sprue to painted and based in under 2 hours thanks to the Mr Chumley hairdryer method :)

Anyone got any or any suggestions?  they were fun to paint, 2 down 50 to go for that box :) got to get more, and cannons!  :-D

Looking good! :icon_cool: :::cheers:::

Got 120 Victrix French to do, but haven't touched them in quite awhile, after having done up 16 of them with no paint yet.  I'm basing them individually on the 20mm, but 4 per 50mm tray for use with Lasalle.

I don't know what effect these men will have upon the enemy, but, by God, they frighten me.
