So apart from 2 of the combi-bolter parts this unit is done.

For one I'll glue the bolter on, and I'll magnetize the other in waiting for the extra bits for the melta, plasma, flamer options

Yeah, those very vivid reds, oranges, and yellows remind me of an 80s White Dwarf vibe.
Now go! Ride towards the sun atop these noble steeds
You're our spandex heroes, now fullfil your destinies
And so we turned and rode beyond the castle walls
with shiny codpiece armour that doth cradle our chivalrous balls

Somehow the colors are a bit too saturated, when I'm done with the 2 bolter parts I'll put them in the lightbox for their full glory showcase.

Btw they have just slain the mop monster..  :biggriin:

Are you enjoying 9th edition? Heard 8th wasn't some folks favorite.

Yeah I enjoy 9th, but 8th was good also. 9th is just a more polished 8th in my opinion. Though my T'au are bottom feeders in the meta right now and even in casaul games it struggles a lot. But new codex coming soon, so here is hoping for some good new synergies to come.

Any way here are my lightbox pictures.. I might need to adjust focus a bit more for the group shots..

These are all my Bubonic Axe wielding (or support for them) models

Magnetized weapon options for the combi-something

Blight Launcher

Flail of Corruption

Next up are my Balesword wielding ones and/or the Foul Blightspawn

and it's on my blog aswell:

Ah!  Well those look less stark in color, and remind me of your previous painting of this clan.

And your website is looking very good! :icon_biggrin: :icon_cool: :eusa_clap: :::cheers:::

So I have entered a tournament on May 1st, 1k points and due to the new codex rules for T'au I don't have a legal fully painted army, so I brought my Death Guard.

24 people participated and it was a 3 round event.

With a 2nd place drop out (one of the tournament organizers to make it an even amount of participants, and was declared before hand that he would not take any prizes) made me move up to 2nd place!
results here (and my list if you want to know):
https://tabletop.to/40k-toernooi/ladder

First game was against an Imperial Guard - Death Korp of Krieg list, he gave a nice jumping platform to shove my terminators right into his deployment zone, it was over there and then.

Second game was really close against a really nice Necron force, but he just could not shove me off center objective in the Ascend mission.

Third game was against a really though Space Wolves list, in the last round I only had my plagueburst crawler and the bell dude left vs his Bjorn. I managed to get that win on points in the primary. At the price announcements my opponent won best painted.

My second price was Sergeant Castus, that will go nicely in the Salamander force I guess :)

Yeah I had loads of fun, which was the best part of the day, and my aim was to get top 10 as I was not very confident in my playing and getting all the rules potential out of them, and I didn't also as I messed up(forgot) a few buffs and even a whole 1" charge from the fleshmower I forgot to do..
Also my opponents got some good laughs in as well which made me also happy.

So I have been on a building streak lately and here is some of the work done

The Space Marine bit of Leviathan:

The Tyranids part:

And also a box of Intercesor's I still had lying around.

I have also build a set of Blightlord Terminator's and painted a few more models up from my Death Guard, but those painted are all loose models, when I get a few more done I'll take a few pictures of those aswell.

Also played my first Combat patrol with some of the minis from Leviathan. I played Tyranids and my daughter played the Spacee marines.
Due to early board control the Tyranids won by 39-32, but at the end of battle round 5 (Space Marines had the second turn) I only had one Barbgaunt left on the table.
