This may give us a hint into what the Kislev models will look like in the new Old World since GW hinted that Kislev will have a range.

And they confirmed Cathay will be in it.

And each Chaos god has their own faction too.

Exactly my thoughts, those polar bear cavalry are exactly what we saw teaser concepts for when they announced the return of the Old World.

Maybe the Old World isn't quite as far off as we were being told... tell them it'll be waaay off in like 5 years and surprise everybody by dropping it in 1-2?

In the video, it is mentioned that the Dark Gods feed on transgressions, although I couldn't hear the second and third one clearly ...

I watched the trailer with my kids and when the Tzarina started to use her ice magic, my daughter started singing "Let it go" from Frozen. There will also be a pre-order race but it hasn't come out what they will be yet. Many are guessing either Ogre Kingdoms or Chaos Dwarfs. So thats a total of 7 races and 9 LL for the start of the game!

I also like that its not going to be the End Times.

Get hyped! I notice they talk about the warhammer studio working closely with the game company for this, and I'm hopeful that its a good sign for the coming The Old World rebirth.

REALLY surprised Cathay is going to be a major faction. Never thought I'd see the day.

Yeah I know, just as a pre-order DLC they have the best argument to bridge and be found on Vortex, Old World/Mortal Empires, and a new game map over any other faction. I mean there is room for plenty eastern factions on the current Mortal Empires map but none that also bridge to a Vortex campaign start which CA seems to like to link in for cross functionality.

Further aside anyone care to speculate on the feel Cathay will have. GW has always been sparse on the eastern bits of the world. Three Kingdoms feel not only hits the normal GW approach of 'very famous point in history meets fantasy' since the more fleshed out Nippon in 3rd Edition was very Sengoku period. Further it would save loads on the CA end of reskinning a bunch of stuff from Three Kingdoms Total War already.

I feel certain there will be Chaos Dwarfs in at some point. DLC Ogres doesn't make much sense seems a core race for the east with not as much cross game compatibility. But who knows if they will care about that and how Mortal Empires will move. My guess it will migrate to Warhammer 3 since I really have no interest in whatever the scripted campaign of 3 will be just a greatly expanded Mortal Empires map.
