You beat me to it GP.

With my Targets for March reached both the City Watch and the Apatoa Pahure Pioneer Corps projects are now completed. I’ve been so intent on finishing them that I don’t have another project planned, be it figure, unit or army.  I still have a pile of lead and plastic so time to go through the bits and see what comes of it.

Did very little on the cavalry units.  Switched up what I'd be doing for the Huzzah! 2022 game convention and moved on prepping for that instead.  That'll be my main focus for April.  Then in May it will be on to some scenery pieces.

March Goals
JAK ... finish Apatoa Pahure Pioneers, enter units in local competition, bring my blog here up to date.
Grutch ... weather & rust Octarius Ork Terrain.
Brr-icy ... finished slaanesh chariot, Champions of tzeentch and Slaanesh, sir almarac, dreadlord kouran

Sharkbelly ... 20 Grave Guard, Crimson Court.

Start of April Goals
Sharkbelly ... wolves, Swamp Crone.
GP ... 4 Italian knights, 12 Genoese crossbowmen, 12 Norman crossbowmen, 6 Pope's guard, and finish prepping other figures with bases and touchups for Huzzah! 2022.

Start of May Goals
GP ... Finish scenery pieces for Lion Rampant Tourney at Huzzah! 2022.

Octarius Terrain is done.

Currently assembling:
1 Deathguard Champion with Power First and Plasma Pistol
1 Deathguard Icon bearer
1 Deathguard Warrior
1 Deathguard Fighter with Bubotic Axe (did I get that right)
1 Deathguard Fighter with Mace of Congation

6 Black Templar assault intercessors.

I'll paint the Templars but my son is having a go at this batch of Deathguard.

Been making more good progress on the knights and started 2 others as well as 2 more crossbowmen and a spearmen commander.  The two, crossbow units, and half a spearmen units are also almost done.  Prepping other figures including basing with tufts and flowers has also started.
And got a jump start on the scenery projects for both Lion Rampant and Lasalle 2nd edition.  None of those complete yet, but it is all very close and I continue to have strong momentum on all of these.

June Goals
GP ... 12 English Archers, finish 12 WotRs archers, marsh scenery piece.

I am close to having the English archers done, maybe by the end of the week, it'll be close.  The marsh scenery piece has seen good progress just need to pour the resin into the water areas.  And those WotRs figures ... hmmm ... they might get done too, we'll see.

Over the summer, I put other projects on hold and focus more on my historical pirates. Here is the most recent model, Melisande Wavecutter:

Up next are a couple of 2'x2' layouts for a pirate village...

6 Black Templar Assault Intercessors @99%.  I have to paint a tactical rock to match the basing, I need to do a couple of washes here and there on some of the models.  I need to glue on a few more accessories.  I need to add some shrubbery to some of the bases, then Pictures!

At this rate, I'll have a 2000 Point Black Templar army in about 5 years.

New Kill Team light rules and Space Marine Intercessor rules were released days ago already invalidating the Sargent in my squad (cannot take a plasma pistol + power weapon anymore).  So I'll have to build a new Sargent or just play him counting the Powersword as a chainsword.  But that's heresy!  Maybe I'll build an intercessor with a grenade launcher as well.  I'm really bad at rules and meta so I'll have to ask people who know better about what I "should" build.

Sounds awesome Grutch! :eusa_clap: :::cheers:::

Didn't get much completed in July.  Been pouting about still not having some Napoleonic figures back yet from a painter that has been out of communication since their mother-in-law passed away this past March or April.

August has slipped past too ... like a rocket engine on x-wing fighter.

Maybe we can get this kickstarted for September?  Suspect there are some medieval figures I can work on somewhere, and just need to decide which ones.

August Goals

Anyone?  :engel: :icon_biggrin:
